Dr. Jennifer Armstrong - What is going on!?
Here is what we are sure about: We are sure about is that a former patient of Dr. Armstrong is currently suing Dr. Jen Armstrong and a man named Donald Woo Lee. This patient ALLEGES that Donald Woo Lee was a licensed medical doctor until 2019, when he surrendered his medical license because he was accused of insurance fraud.
This patient further alleges that Dr. Jen knew that Mr. Donald Woo Lee no longer was licensed to practice medicine when she allowed Mr. Donald Woo Lee to perform medical procedures on the patient.
Patient further claims that Dr. Jen never warned Patient that the man was not permitted to practice medicine.
THEN, around page 4 we get to the real crazy allegations. Patient alleges that Dr. Jen Armstrong informed the Patient that Dr. Jen was switching to new dermatology products, and away from a leading brand that Dr. Jen used previously. The Patient was certain that the package was written in Korean, but she couldn't read or understand anything on the package. [Side bar: if Patient could not read or understand the writing, how was patient certain it was Korean?]
Then, Patient went back to Dr. Jen Armstrong because she felt as though a thread in her face had come loose, and it was painful. This is when Patient alleges that Dr. Jen Armstrong instructed that Donald Woo Lee would fix the problem, while referring to Donald as "Dr. Lee."
Patient alleges that Donald Woo Lee held and manipulated Patient's cafe, injected local anesthesia, and addressed the lift threads that caused pain. All the while, Patient had no idea that Donald was not a part of Dr. Jen's medical staff OR that Donald Woo Lee, was in fact not allowed to practice medicine.
So, wow, that totally sucks. Patient's face seems to be fixed, and no further damage was done, so what is she suing Dr. Jen Armstrong for? Mental suffering, anxiety, and emotional distress, totaling a request for $250,000, in damages.
