Episode 6: JUSTICE FOR TINSLEY MORTIMER

One night in April of 2016, notorious socialite Tinsley Mortimer was arrested for trespassing on former boyfriend Alexander "Nico" Fanjul's Palm Beach Property.

So, what is Trespassing:

To be clear, this wasn't just a house. It was a gated compound.

To place this moment into HERstory: this happened 8 years after her divorce from Topper Mortimer. Which, if I can be honest, was news to me.

Now, we know, TinselTown loves "love." She falls fast and she falls hard. Tinsley met Topper Mortimer in high school and they eloped at 19. Their marriage ended when Tinsley started to date a prince. Because, of course she did.

After 8 years of socialite-ing around, Tinsley started to date Nico Fanjul. The relationship was extreme and volatile, with nights often ending in a phone call to the Palm Beach Police.

One particular night, Tins went to Nico's estate to retrieve her pocketbook, only to find him with another woman. Chaos insues. The police are called. Tinsley is arrested for Trespass. Even remaining on the driveway or the walkway, with intent to be on the property, is sufficient for trespass.

Here's the thing: Tinsley was the victim of abuse. Yet, for the last approximately 5 years, I just thought Tinsley was a crazy ex-girlfriend!!
